Lincat, UK’s leading catering equipment manufacturer has won a prestigious Sainsbury’s Foodservice Excellence Award for demonstrating a ‘partnership approach to ways of working’. The award was presented at Sainsbury’s Supplier Conference in London that was held just recently.

With this award, Lincat was able to prove to its competitors that they are the best in not only providing excellent catering equipment to its customers but also give the most prestigious customer service they can have. Having this award is such an honor to any catering equipment in the UK especially today that only a few British manufacturers remain in the scene because of a lot of imported competitors that outsmart the local brands in price.

Let us bring back the catering equipment manufacturing that once UK was known for and Lincat, Dualit, and Parry is keeping the decade old tradition. Buy local products and be proud of what we have that others fail to achieve.

A special wine is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon using traditional vinification and maturing techniques at the Los Vascos Estate.

In commemoration of his 10 years’ work in Chile, Domaines Barones Rothchild-Lafite bottled a wine he named the Le Dix De Los Vascos wine. This exceptional wine originates from a 70-year-old vineyard (where most vines were 40-50 years old) that is located in the area known as “El Faile”. The wine is aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 months before bottling. The production is in small quantities, depending on the concentration and finesse of the vintage. The annual average production is 5000-8000 cases per year.

It is a wine of exceptional complexity, balance, elegance, powerful tannins and aromas of very ripe fruit accentuated by spicy notes of cedar, laurel and eucalyptus. It contains Caberet Sauvignon (more than 85%), syrah and carmenere. The wine’s decanting time is 2 hours or more and is served at a temperature of about 16-18 degrees celsius.
